The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest will be 700 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 2.5% to 573.53 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,123.09 liras and 1,125.22 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,217 liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500 - 2000 GMT), with the lowest at 847.12 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 12.79 Turkish liras at 1106 GMT on Tuesday.
