The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0800-1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 15.2 % to around 597.5 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 970.91 liras and 1,096.18 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 4,500 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 149.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.88 liras at 2.33 p.m. local time (1133 GMT) on Monday.
