The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m.and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,117.71 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday’s electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 18.2% to around 2.34 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,607.75 liras and 3,640.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 655.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.20 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
