The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,999.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 175 liras at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0700, 1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 32.8% to around 1.18 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,980.21 liras and 2,048.67 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 4,059.02 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 925.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.70 liras at 2.34 p.m. local time (1134 GMT) on Saturday.
