The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,157.24 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 9.10% to around 2.77 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,005.23 liras and 3,045.57 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 4,487.23 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,099.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 48.48 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
