The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 800 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 12.1% to around 1.17 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,185.16 liras and 2,246.79 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 4,099.99 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 950.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 49.03 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
