The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1400-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999.99 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 32.1% to around 2.36 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,170.59 liras and 3,275.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 4,200 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0700-1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 48.77 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Sunday.
