The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,142.43 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,484.85 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 2.25% to around 1.89 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,737.40 liras and 2,802.43 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 4,000 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.78 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
