The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 4,500 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was 1,499.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 2.9% to around 2.39 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,371.30 liras and 3,400.27 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 4,500 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,400 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.89 liras at 2.11 p.m. local time (1111 GMT) on Monday.
