The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 4,499.99 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0600- 1000GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 0.6% to around 783.7 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,647.41 liras and 1,749.78 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,999 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 238 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 49.13 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
