The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,487.18 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 998.60 liras at 7 p.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 1.41% to around 1.74 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,790.91 liras and 2,806.12 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 4,487.17 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 955.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.05 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Thursday.
