The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 4,000.01 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 250.35 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday’s electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 5.5% to around 1.37 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,325.26 liras and 2,376.48 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 4,300.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 350 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 47.51 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
