The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,390.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 35.6% to around 365.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 618.43 liras and 700.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 4,500 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.06 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Wednesday.
