The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 175 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 71.9% to around 706.2 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,228.39 liras and 1,437.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000.01 liras at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 167.38 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.53 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
