The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,532.17 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 439.47 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 13.9% to around 1.37 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,625.34 liras and 1,641.26 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 231.01 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.30 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Monday.
