The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,675.99 Turkish liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) at between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0600 and 1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 16.5% to around 671.6 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,222.63 liras and 1,253.01 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,900 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 100.00 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.07 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Saturday.
