The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. local time (2100-0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 342% to around 728 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,158.57 liras and 1,264.71 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 1,642.69 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1500-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0600-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.72 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
