The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 1,891.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 164.91 liras at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0900, 1100GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 236.37% to around 171.96 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 380.12 liras and 393.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 300.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. and between 11.00 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (2300-0100, 0800-1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 44.28 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
