The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,743.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 171.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 74.89% to around 244.05 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 473.76 liras and 487.53 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,199.99 liras at 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0200, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 700 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.21 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
