The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1989.99 Turkish liras at 6 a.m. ,7.p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (03.00, 1600, 1700GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0.00 liras at between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0700-1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a increase of 42.8% to around 1.20 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,072.48 liras and 1,091.71 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,000.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 499.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.92 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT) on Saturday.
