The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. local time (0500,0600,1400,1500 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1.813,99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 27.6% to around 1.76 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,851.3 liras and 2,880.58 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400.00 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,547.39 liras between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m local time (0700-0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.60 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
