The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 300.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. and between 11.00 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (2300-0100, 0800-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 79% to around 51.12 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 116.43 liras and 119.36 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 1,743.99 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 171.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.32 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
