The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,300.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 299.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 171.40% to around 1.27 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,729.08 liras and 1,802.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 1,999.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0500-1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.55 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Sunday.
