The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,391.49 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0400 and 1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 41.3% to around 221.37 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 378 liras and 397.66 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 1,999.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 101.06 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.45 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Saturday.
