The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1500-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,418 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a rise of 66% to around 1.71 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,641.32 liras and 2,714.97 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 999.99 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.20 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Sunday.
