The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,245 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 128.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 37.9% to around 487.2 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 782.91 liras and 974.55 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 4,000.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m local time (0400-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.59 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
