The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900, 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 9.82% to around 646.22 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,093.81 liras and 1,357.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 4,300.01 liras at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.43 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
