The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,600 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0600-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an decrease of 41.6% to around 294.5 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 528.87 liras and 651.78 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 4,300.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras between10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0700-1100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.36 liras at 2.11 p.m. local time (1111 GMT) on Monday.
