The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate is set at 149.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 272% to around 704.4 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,129.09 liras and 1,401.09 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 1,952.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0700-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.85 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Sunday.
