The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 125% to around 539.35 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 934.52 liras and 1,124.16 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,250 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.95 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
