The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,200 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0600-1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 16.9% to around 248.9 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 425.83 liras and 522.77 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,299.99 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0400-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.02 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
