The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,570 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 61.2% to around 415.68 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 725.31 liras and 779.34 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 217.64 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.75 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
