The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,250 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0400-1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 39.4% to around 239.39 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 408.6 liras and 514.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0800-1100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.92 liras at 2.04 p.m. local time (1104 GMT) on Wednesday.
