The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 740 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 104.3% to around 82.4 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 169.18 liras and 185.32 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 249.99 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0300-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.18 liras at 2.58 p.m. local time (1158 GMT) on Friday.
