The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 200.00 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0400-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 47.83% to around 42.9 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 100.11 liras and 104.38 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 740 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.14 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
