The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,249.99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) liras between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0400-1400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 29.4% to around 257.3 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 503.55 liras and 664.78 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 4,100 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0500-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.36 liras at 2.33 p.m. local time (1133 GMT) on Saturday.
