The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 4,390.06 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 230.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 33.7% to around 871.99 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,421.91 liras and 1,702.22 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 4,500 liras at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 133.01 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.20 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
