The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 315.01 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 liras between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0200-1500 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 36.73% to around 24.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 69.54 liras and 81.34 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 328.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0300-1400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.91 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
