The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,200 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 liras between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0400-1400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 48.2% to around 140.48 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 250.46 liras and 344.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,219.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0500-1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.49 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
