The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,300.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 22.8% to around 672.9 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,022.26 liras and 1,202.81 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 4,390.06 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 230.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.22 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Tuesday.
