The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,300 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0600-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 25.7% to around 499.8 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 786.57 liras and 1,021.45 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 4,300.01 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.2 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
