The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 300,01 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 18.1% to around 1.07 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,833.65 liras and 1,923.44 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 4,500 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 189,99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.58 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
