The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 249.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0700-1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 39.6% to around 40.3 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 99.58 liras and 99.45 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,390 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.18 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Thursday.
