The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) liras at 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time (0400-1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 70.4% to around 219.7 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 388.13 liras and 443.47 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 4,052.58 liras at 12 a.m. local time (2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 97.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.06 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
