The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) liras at between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time (0500-1200GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 26.5% to around 298.3 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 533.8 liras and 594.7 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,000.01 liras at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 170.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.23 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
