The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,999.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 (zero) liras at between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0500-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 43.5% to around 469.2 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 773.17 liras and 783.57 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,860 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 170 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.55 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
