The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,000.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700 and 18000 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 170.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 57.3% to around 406.2 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 689.55 liras and 716.90 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,974.40 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 199 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.26 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Friday.
