The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,900 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 100.00 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 52.8% to around 804.4 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,320.64 liras and 1,322.23 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,399.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.07 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Friday.
