The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 800.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 107% to around 1.26 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,970.30 liras and 2,018.79 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 1,989.99 Turkish liras at 6 a.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0300, 1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest at 0 liras between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time (0700-1100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.92 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Sunday.
