The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m local time (1300-1600 and 1400-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 317.41 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 6.4% to around 1.45 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,330.27 liras and 2,323.46 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,098 liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest was at 272 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.75 liras at 2.40 p.m. local time (1140 GMT) on Wednesday.
